I have been the proud head teacher at Longridge School since the school opened in September 2021.
I believe that personal and social development is just as vital for our learners as academic achievement. My goal is to inspire and support our dedicated teaching team in delivering a creative, challenging, and meaningful curriculum that nurtures the whole child and promotes well rounded success for every student.

I have worked in education for nearly 20 years across a range of settings. I have a strong belief that every child has the right to learn and thrive and this drives my passion for working in Special Educational Needs. In my free time, I like to walk my three crazy dogs.
Miss Emma Salt BEd Hons (QTS)
The field of Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities is of a particular interest to me.
I resolutely advocate that learning differences will not define our students nor limit their opportunities to experience success.
