Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and the safety and wellbeing of every child at Fitzroy Academy is of utmost importance. We adopt a vigilant approach to ensure that our children and young people feel safe and cared for at all times. We promote a culture where our learners and staff feel secure and confident to raise even minor concerns, and will be listened to and taken seriously. Their concerns will be reported to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. 

Staff receive regular training and updates to ensure we are aware of local concerns and national developments. The Shropshire Safeguarding Community Partnership is our local source of information and procedural guidance - www.shropshiresafeguardingcommunitypartnership.co.uk
