I warmly welcome you to the Fitzroy Academy. I am very proud to be part of this unique, vibrant, and caring school where children are firmly at the heart of everything we do.
At the Fitzroy Academy we pride ourselves on making this a school with a tight-knit, family feel. As staff we are able to really get to know each student, and work to meet their needs to the very best of our ability. We have high expectations for all the students, and we value every one of them as a unique member of our school community.
The curriculum here is inspirational and creative. We bespoke the curriculum to meet the individual learning needs of each student, providing a highly individualised approach to learning. We believe in providing a practical, hands-on approach to learning, with a strong focus on communication and community participation, allowing students to develop key skills for adult life.
We aim to foster a lifelong love of learning and believe that our children deserve the very best as they start their learning journey with us, and we work in partnership with parents, carers and members of our local communities to achieve that goal.
